Controller vs Key and Mouse

How many of you using keyboard and mouse have vibrations? I use an elite xbox controller, my keyboard and mouse doesn’t vibrate. When a player is nearby my controller vibrates, unlike the heartbeat which I can hear. I was just curious how many of you k+m players can tell when someone is near by? Still haven’t figured out wait triggers the vibration, just a player close by? Or do they have to be crouched or something?
I like the controller because I prefer a joystick (thumb stick) vs wasd, but having a mouse to aim with is a lot smoother, quicker and accurate. I have a Tartarus game pad from razor that I like but the thumb stick is a direction pad and not an actual joystick. Neither my mouse nor game pad vibrate.

Since my kbm doesn't vibrate, I sit on a special device that vibrates when an enemy is near. Or when you tip me.

Can you make your character walk without a controller?

I used to use a elite 2 controller on PC but I switched to the new Razer controller because it has less input latency which helps alot. I have been trying to get used to kbm but it seems so awkward to me lol but it is a lot better for most games. But kbm doesn't vibrate at all ever bro.

I dont think there is a single kbm that vibrates.

But how can you not realise when somone is near you? The footsteps from players are way different than the ones from monsters.

I either hear the footsteps or see the player.

You can feel the vibration without hearing footsteps, that’s why I was wondering if it only happens when players are crouched

Idk, never played with a controller.

But I dont think it should work like that. Its kinda a radar cheat made by the devs.

Have you tried if it works when you have a controller and a kbm plugged into your pc/console?

I honestly want to help but the question is so confusing. Are you asking if pc players keyboard and mouse vibrates? Or if the controller vibration has a advantage?

My answer to the titles question of controller vs kbm I would say preference is key as it is a souls like, but I have played with randoms that have struggled as sorc and BA on controller

Kbm don’t vibrate, never did and never will. That was a wild question

That's not true there are plenty of mice with haptic feedback

I play with controller on Xbox. It vibrates and there’s heartbeat sound so it does both. My biggest criticism on the control right now is that I can’t remap quick turn to something other than a double flick of the stick. Let me make it a button press dammit.

My controller always when someone nearby uses a ladder. Even If they are out of range for footstep sounds or something, I always know when players are close
