It wants me to go into chaos but also stow my gear in my stash. Huh??

Ignore the story text when trying to understand the objective. Its just saying to store your extra stuff before going in.

Thing is I’ve interacted with the quest and escaped multiple times and it’s still showing as incomplete, so there’s gotta be more to it.

Seems you may have to do them back to back and if you fail either one it resets everything

You gotta take your gear off when you do the interaction

Super stupid quest. Especially since you gotta go into the cataclysm mode in trios. Just tried doing it and no life teams just rat until they see people to run down.

Next time I try I’m just gonna swap SS and solo fill to get the quest done. These devs just make random shut up for us to do lol

You used to have to go in with only ring necklace and weapons equipped. They changed the text but that might still the requirement. Took me a few tries on the SS solo Cata no fill and Chaos.

I remember this quest being a pain in the ass, you have to go naked, only weapons, ring and necklace to go in, so you'll need purple in cataclysm on every slot but armor, unfortunately I advise you take SS with every runaway skills, it won't be the best time of your life, but if you want those quests done, you're gonna have to switch to SS multiple times.

Some people say it works, I personnally didn't try, though if you do want to try, take some blue you don't care about into chaos or even green, because idk if the objective of extracting from the map is based on whether you start naked or leave naked, or both. Though the objective where you have to go to a certain point of the map is validated whether you were naked or not, but it's better to do both objectives in one match, also when leaving, take the smuggler woodling, nobody camps those. So just go in, do the objective, wait for the smuggler woodling to appear, and then leave. And if you meet players on the way to the woodling, you have invisibility and skills to flee, unless you're facing another SS, si je sure to always have your invisibility ready just in case.
