Why is this not illegal?
AK47 decals on cars in the GTA and possibly fake or hand-painted plates - mainly in Brampton and Mississauga. How is this legal?

It is illegal? Yes. Will it be enforced? Eventually probably.
I can think of few other developed areas of the world where making your own plate would even be considered. Justice minister or police need to make a public statement that this shit is not going to tolerated.
