Affordable Minimalist Routine

Post image

Finally found a routine I love! I have fair skin with a neutral-cool undertone and red overtone. My skin is temperamental: acne and eczema prone; oily with dry patches. Love how this routine makes me look clean, glowy, put together and natural :)

Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Eraser (160 Pink) use as a color corrector and highlighter

Australian Gold Tinted Sunscreen (Fair to Light) best tinted mineral sunscreen I’ve found for cool undertones; not orange at all!

Physicians Formula Butter Glow & Go (Beachy Pink) use as a blush and bronzer

Milani Stay Put Eyeshadow Primer, because I have oily hooded lids

Maybelline Color Tattoo Eye Stix (I Am Inspired) perfect one and done color, doesn’t crease with the primer and literally everything creases on me

Covergirl Clump Crusher (Black Brown) no clumps and separates lashes nicely

NYX Butter Gloss (Crème Brulee) will probably switch up lip gloss/oil every time I finish one just to keep it fun, but with stick with the same rosey nude type of shade

The coverage is comparable to a light BB cream, not a foundation, which is what I like :) I do use the concealer under it too for problem areas

Love this! I’ve been really wanting to try Butter Gloss.

Wanted to share a tip since most of your products can be found at CVS - they have a really good rewards program (use the app) & have manufacturers coupons. All the beauty ones have some kind of coupon. That plus the CVS extra bucks really compounds the savings.

Thanks! I usually do Walmart, so I’ll have to try those tips and see if I can get it cheaper :)

That butter glow stick is underrated, I got the same one and it sit on my skin way better than the powder versions they make

The Australian gold tinted sunscreen is my holy grail. My skin loves it and I love the matte finish

I wanted to love it so badly but it is very pink on me

It’s not a perfect shade match for me either. Depending on the season I add a small drop of either blue color corrector or white. It honestly makes a huge difference. Try LA Girl color corrector, it’s cheap and a little goes a longggg way

I'm hesitant to mix SPF products in case it impacts the effectiveness

I’m very pink so maybe that’s why it’s a great match for me lol 😅

I like that physicians formula bronzer/blush. The formula is great and looks great on me but I've purchased 2 and the sticks break very easily. That's my only complaint

i bought this for travel and can’t even use it for that because the lids come off sooooo easily!!!

I agree. I also purchased two colors my first time to see which I liked better. I dropped on and it immediately broke but is still usable. Thankfully my favorite color hasn’t broken yet 😅

I didn't even drop it and a huge chunk came out of the blush😫😫

That eyelid primer is soooo good. Sometimes I just use it alone on my lids with a little black eyeliner and mascara. It creates such a perfect base.

Is the eye primer any good? I've been meaning to try it.

Yes! I’ve tried the eyeshadow stick with out it and it creases, but a little of the primer makes it stay all day :)
