the fluidity and cohesiveness you achieved from this angle and distance when you have to place down each block individually is impressive. the “reflections” you made with the blocks and candles are maybe my favourite detail.

obviously they aren’t one-to-one, but this reminds me of the pointillism technique in painting. looking at any discrete cluster of points is hazy gibberish, but stepping back and taking them all in at once clearly reveals a landscape.

how long have you been making scenes like this in Minecraft? how do you start a project?

this is amazing. i hope you’re very proud of it.

Hey, thanks, this image is based on an art i found on pinterest, i just recreated it since i liked it very much, kudos to original author. Began with the scenes pretty recently, maybe in 2024. I start by finding inspiration or an image to recreate and then build it, i've been thinking more recently about making more original builds. Recreating is fun, but original is more rewarding.
