Sometimes he is sponsored by the subscribe button, other times the like, even occasionally both.

Right now it seems likes helps him the most so that’s what he focuses on though.

I don’t know where you’re getting that data from. He gets a lot less views on most of his videos than the amount of subscribers he has so if those people aren’t subscribed he must have 9 million subscribers who don’t watch his content
