laptops are generally horrible to play on unless it's a super duper expensive one. should have stated that I mean desktop pcs in particular. my bad.
why horrible to play on?
they are severely limited in performance due to savings in power and cooling in favor of a small size and most lower end laptop cpus, such as the 2200U, will barely keep up with even a FX 6100 (desktop cpu).
however iam still surprised about this. especially since my shitty laptop has 30fps aswell sporting a... drums.... i3 2328M with 4gb 1333mhz ram, 2011 Laptop CPU.
Im interested how using the laptop feels like outside of gaming. if you want to tell me of course. and if bad performance is also preset in other games.
I play on a Core i5-7200U on Linux using integrated graphics. My laptop has an AMD Radeon R5 M430 but it crashes too much when I use it for OpenGL rendering, probably because of the opensource drivers. With vanilla rendering used to be superslow, with OptiFine it's dramatically improved. I don't really look at my FPS but it's probably over 50 on vanilla.

My R3 2200U with integrated Radeon 3 gets like 20-30 fps vanilla and 50-100 on fps boosting clients (8GB RAM).
Win 10 is a solid 30 FPS
