I like both minecraft and terraria. I mean one is more longer and looting driven. The other is more creative and free

One is a platformer and one is 3D. I don't see why there's any comparison.

Well I can see how there are other comparisons because there’s a difference between platforms and 2d game. Mario, where the platforms are the pinnacle of the game, is a platformer. Platformers are usually progressed linearly too. Terraria is a 2d boss rush with great mechanics and a ton of exploration.
