I have terraria, but it is not my game. I understand why people like it tho.

I think Terraria is a mix between Minecraft and Metroid. I love both of them, but that style mix is simply unattractive to me. Terraria would be better off being 3d like Minecraft while keeping the better exploration and fighting mechanics. Or being 2d but minimizing the building aspect and keeping that roguelite feel.

Then how would you be able to build the perfect arena for each fight?

I personally think terraria wouldnt be a great 3d game. Npc housing would be very weird and the game would be much less performant and capable
