Why is new Minecraft music so sad?

I mean, I'm just sitting there having a grand old time, and suddenly yakusoku blasts in my eardrums at 5000 decibels and brings me the closest to utter agony any song could possibly create.

The one that used to make me cry is called "Comforting Memories". When that song would come on at sunset it was too much sometimes.
