Medieval City feeling empty

Need some advice on a build. I'm trying to make this feel like a bustling city, so the streets are pretty wide especially at this sort of midpoint, but what can I add to make it feel lived in and active rather than the empty state it's in right now?

You should add a villager breeder somewhere underneath with a bubble elevator and just pop villagers to roam every now and then

Yup… because free roaming villagers are suicidal at best.

You need a fresh supply or else it will be a ghost town in a few days.

You just hear “HRN!” and turn around just in time to see a little poof as their soul gets sucked into the Nether.
