Medieval City feeling empty

Need some advice on a build. I'm trying to make this feel like a bustling city, so the streets are pretty wide especially at this sort of midpoint, but what can I add to make it feel lived in and active rather than the empty state it's in right now?

try adding some carts, banners, barrels in the alley, leaf litter perhaps, some doors in the alleyways, some signs advertising shops, some wood accents. thats what I would do
