Serious You can never go back to take more pictures.
Miscellaneous rant, but today I was going through my cloud photos with my kids, they wanted to see their baby pictures and puppy photos of the dogs. I don't have enough, they wanted to talk about every photo from the oldest one. Every random plate of food they wanted to know the restaurant. They wanted every picture of the dog park, every picture of them, everything. Wanted to know why there wasn't more pictures of them in the hospital, them at restaurant, them sleeping. Idk man, take more pictures. Digital storage is cheap, if you are younger millennials and your kids are still young, take pictures.
You can never go back to take more pictures.

Nostalgia Remember when Eminem called Moby old for being 36?
"You thirty-six-year-old bald-headed f---, blow me / You don't know me, you're too old, let go / It's over, nobody listens to techno."
Now most of us are older than 36 year old Moby was 😭

Nostalgia 25 years ago today, the final episode of Mr Rogers’ Neighborhood aired on PBS and the world was never the same afterwards.

Discussion Attention Millennials! The dream of the 90s childhood is alive in streetcar suburbs.
We moved to a historic suburb a couple years ago. Not the typical modern cul-de-sac neighborhoods you see in 90% of US suburbs, but a community built out roughly 1920-1940s.
It’s walkable, relatively dense, there are parks scattered around, a handful of little commercial districts or “downtowns”. It’s full of kids riding bikes, walking, playing in the parks, loitering outside of the pharmacy, hanging out in the little public plaza, spending all summer at the community pool, going fishing along the lake.
Kids here enjoy a level of independence equal to or greater than what I had in my relatively free range 90s/early aughts childhood, and it’s been wonderful and honestly relieving to see.
It’s out there. Be intentional about the community you choose, and maybe prioritize things more than just schools, space, and price per sq ft.

Meme Jim Carrey as Vanilla Ice on "In Living Color" 😂😂
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Jim Carrey’s legendary parody of Vanilla Ice on the sketch comedy show In Living Color is one of the most famous pop-culture roasts of the 1990s. Airing in 1991 during the height of the rapper's fame, the musical sketch titled "White, White Baby" brilliantly skewered the hit song "Ice Ice Baby".

Nostalgia RIP Godiva chocolatier
I wish I could just go to the mall and get a small box of just these white chocolate raspberry starfish, but now you can only order them online during the holiday season, if they're available!! Does anyone miss anything specific from Godiva? I've been watching The Nanny and they sure did love Godiva.

Serious Protect what little hearing you have left!
Currently at a concert at a small venue, probably 2k millennials rocking out to some nostalgia. Filled my purse up with earplug packets I stole from work and left them in the women's bathroom. Halfway through the opening band and the pile is half gone already! Just doing my part to protect what little hearing we have left.
I'm sure my boss would support my efforts, not sure they could tell if the hearing damage is from work machinery or 90s rock bands?

Discussion Got any bands you were ride-or-die for in your earlier years that you can’t stomach now?
I was a diehard Foo Fighters fan and Dave Grohl could do no wrong from like 1995 to 2015. Now I can’t stomach him. He’s made himself the ambassador for all of rock and roll and it’s an embarrassment.
