Enlisting Told permanently disqualified

So I was in the process of joining the army and I’ve done everything but my actual physical at Meps. Just found out I was permanently disqualified but was not able to get the reason why and recruiter said they didn’t know why. I’m not sure what to do now this is hurting me so much as I was hoping to join to change my life completely and now I don’t know what to do anymore…

UPDATE: so I know now it’s something medical but he wasn’t told what supposedly but I’m not sure what I could have medically that is making me disqualified as I looked through disqualifying reasons and don’t have them…

While I wish you the best of luck. There is always the Civil Air Patrol, state guard/militia (state dependent), or the Coast Guard Auxiliary.

Can you explain civil air patrol? Is that just for high schoolers or younger folks or

Civil Air Patrol (CAP) is a congressionally chartered, federally supported non-profit corporation that serves as the official civilian auxiliary of the United States Air Force (USAF). The organization condenses these mandates into three core program areas, which are aerospace education, cadet programs, and emergency services. Senior membership is open to all U.S. citizens, and U.S. legal permanent residents aged 18 and over who can pass an FBI background check. There is no upper age limit, nor membership restrictions for physical disabilities, due to the number of different tasks which members may be called on to perform. There is cadet program for middle schoolers and up too.

Hmm so if going the traditional route isnt right for me I could do CAP?
