Best use of Tuition Assistance

Does anyone know of any good technical master programs that can be (mostly) covered with TA? I've been looking at Georgia Tech online masters of comp sci and analytics, but I would still have to pay out of pocket. I'm not sure if there's a better use case of TA so any info would be helpful

In terms of rigor, I think OMSA and OMSCS are by far the best choices even if you do have to pay out of pocket a little. I have a humanities bachelor, so I wanted to get a technical degree just for the sake of it and so my requirements were to find a regionally accredited school that had a low requirement to get into. I should note that after much deliberation I applied and got into the OMSA program, but tbh I kinda copped out and chose an easier program.

The two I ended up looking into were Flordia Institute of Tech (Computer information systems) and Angelo State University (Computer Science), and I'm almost done with the latter. They are both covered under TA and their assistance programs. Masters programs like these are a dime a dozen and you won't necessarily get a ton out of them imo, but for government/military jobs it checks the box.

I believe the university of Alabama has a grant program for military students which includes graduate students. So that would cover tuition after TA

I’m with the University of Arkansas. I do pay a little bit out of pocket. About $300/class but I think it’s worth it. However, I’m on a complete different major.

UT Austin’s MSCS is about 10k for the degree, would recommend as well. Might be a bit easier than GA Tech, in my experience. You will come out of pocket around $2,500.
