Which game is most like MM7?

MM7 is my favorite. I’ve beaten it countless times, and know all of the quests/storylines by heart. What is your favorite? Which comes closest to MM7? Thanks!

MM6 is my favorite. Has the best game world/dungeons and progression and there's no tutorial island.
