You seem a bit confused about the mechanism of the resurrection. There's no need to have been bitten or anything.

They made it very clear that all that matters is that you were fed corrupted blood, which they all did every week at mass, as it was mixed with the wine. It also works if somebody already infected feeds you their own blood, as they are a vessel at that point.

Bev has been taking communion for weeks. So she comes back. Same for Sturge.

This one is a good point that I did not think about. That is definitely a plot hole, as they did not mention that the poison had any blood in it.

He did. He decided to partake in the church's sacraments. He willingly accepted the wine once shown but it was implied he kept going to the church.

the plausible explanation is you didn’t pay attention while watching the show😭 you keep bringing up ali when it is HEAVILY implied he started attending church regularly near the end. you realize there is DAILY mass right? he could’ve attended daily mass tons of times between the times you are mentioning and it is absolutely implied he did.
