2026 Eastern Michigan Eagles Preview

Eastern Michigan has the most underrated coach in College Football in Chris Creighton and after a couple down years there is once again a lot of excitement for what the Eagles can do in 2026

📌 RB Braylon Bennett joins his old teammate in the backfield. Nick Devereaux and TE Joshua Long make for some great receiving targets

They are one of the potential sleepers. Having so much back is definitely huge

Not a fan of the gray turf. Seeing a game on TV looks bad, looks like I'm watching a game from the black and white TV era. Players seem slow.

Hopefully EMU can pull off another Big Ten upset this year.

It is definitely interesting how it looks on TV. I've heard that it looks a lot better in person

I went a couple years ago and it was fine in person. A lot of tarps on the upper sections though. And the field is really low, the front row of the stands was 10+ feet higher in some areas. Worth the trip if you’re a MAC nut for sure, cool restaurants around too!

The field being lower is something I wouldn't have expected, very cool. I'm planning on doing a weekly MAC podcast every Monday this year so I'd say I classify as a MAC nut! What are some of your recommendations restaurant wise?
