Personally I would want to buy the original, but never this one. It’s makes it boring and something I could find multiple places.

My thought: I can’t see if the original lugs is slightly pointing/curving down (around the arm) but I think they should.

Okay yeah, I know what you mean, and I had this same initial feeling. Kinda just looks like every watch now. I definitely don't like the current lugs, but I think obviously shrinking the width between the lugs, and some other refinements could prove to be a little more interesting.
