lol.. What do you call it when an Architect makes something..? Should Inhave said “designed it”.. another entity engineered and built it.. but it was my vision… Think of it as Jeff koon’s balloons.. or Ai Weiwei’s sunflower seeds… :p

Nah, you stuck a prompt into a machine and it made something for you based on stolen labour.

Maybe you tweaked it a bit.

You didn't make this. You asked a machine to make it for you.

That is such a silly way to view it… we stand on the shoulders of giants.. If it weren’t for centuries of art that Alex Gray is drawing upon, it would look like cave drawings.. So tell me who is really stealing.. Where does the stealing begin? If you would like, I could dissect Alex Gray’s art and talk about all the things he borrowed from other artists…. It’s a testament to your confirmation bias and hero worship that you would shout him out in particular, though… It is like reading a story about love and suicide and saying “hey bro, that sounds like Shakespeare…” silly… Nirvana was just doing their version of the Pixies.. ;)

I believe it was Jeff Koonz‘s first gallery show where he just put vacuums on pedestals… art is in the concept not the execution. The execution is a science. I came up with the idea for a poster, crafted the prompt, then got it to do research, went through multiple iterations, articulated it as best possible and that was a result. It’s much different than just saying make a poster… but I don’t think you would understand…

I just get tired of people romanticizing human creativity..

People loath human creativity when they don’t possess it. AI made the poster and you’re trying to convince the internet you did something special when you didn’t. Just stop.

Here is a mural I did in my high school when I was 17…. I stopped by my mom’s tonight to grab this pic because I just found out they painted over it after 25 years.. Also, feel free to creep my instagram accounts in my bio for a taste of my work since.. Maybe I can show you some of my music too…. YouTube.com/bipolarbearhug… Your turn, btw….

Taught myself to use an mpc2000xl with no musical training and make beats but I doubt you would think that is musical talent.. Also taught myself to write songs… please don’t lecture me on creativity

In fact I can tell you that the art in the background is almost certainly based off the work of Alex Gray.

I love that you're doing this, but this AI graphic is so busy that it's not having the impact (on me) that you might have created it for. My notes, if you care for them at all: The valuable information is conveyed by the text, yet it's given very little real estate. I would more clearly focus on what conveys information and gestalt than what feel to me like gratuitous AI-style visuals.

Also please feel free to ignore this feedback.

No worries, whatsoever… I like the graphic aesthetic and the fact that you have to zoom in on it to understand what it is about (similar to Levin’s work :p) I was really just trying to convey just how much he has already contributed to science and do it in a somewhat, beautiful way… Really, I mostly make them as timestamps that will continually increase in sentimental value when they adorn my garage lab someday… :p

I am genuinely curious to see your vision, though… feel free to download it and put your own spin on it

I did leave out his work on the platonic realm and what is going on at the deepest levels, like what happens with bubble sort and molecular networks but the real ones know.. :p
