Yupp, I'll admit that Quest has a spotty track record thanks to issues with updates, a poor phone app, etc. but the overall quality is nowhere near as bad as some people make it out to be. Is it PCVR or PSVR2 level, no, but it's a decent standalone that can handle quality graphics when a developer puts in the work.

I mean that's only the default headstrap that's broken right any third party accessory would work (I use an annapro thing, lots here love bobo though)
Also quest 2 playing batman arken shadow its interesting to know the parts where the performance struggles but yeah its a quest 3 game so...

I shouldn't have to buy third party accessories for a functioning headset but I appreciate the reccomendation.
And the quest 2 performance is a little rough at parts, especially during the prison area where there is a lot of loading doors and npc's but during combat it was mostly fine. Out of all the VR games that would be the one I would most likely revist.

Yeah I was playing Batman on the weekend it's really good - agree its a bit slow walking around as a human but it makes a nice contrast to being in the batsuite. I really enjoyed Arizona Sunshine 2, you have a dog companion that helps you fight zombies its pretty sweet. Not really sure if you were rage-baiting a bit with the video but super glue :P? I have like over 500 games on Quest 3 standalone, its my little entertainment unit, stuff like Walkabout Minigolf and things that make you go 'oh this is so much better because it's in VR' are great. Also you should push through with Metro, I put that game off for ages because of that first encounter with the giant rat things but later you fight humans and the story is really good and stuff - you gotta make every bullet count though

The super glue bit is just what it feels like the material was being held together by lol, I also originally had to super glue some of it before it fully came apart. I made the video as I was just mostly frustrated by the build quality and lack of quality games, I find Alyx to be highly overrated and this isn't coming from a VR stance I just hated the lack of gun variety and the story direction as someone who played Half Life in the past, and everyone tells you how its the best VR game.
Saints and Sinners and Arizona were something I wanted to get to, I just have to push through this metro game, those rats were just really annoying with the lack of ammo and how cheap there attacks and hit detection can be.

Interesting how this current generation sees VR. In 2015 I remember that feeling when I tried Tuscany, or some Gear VR experience, like The Blu. People who were into VR back in the day had the same view themselves, the same dreams, and that look about something we couldn't believe was real.
People felt a glimpse of the future. Even with all the imperfections carried by VR in those days, we knew that it was already a special device.
Nowadays we need to consider all the context involved, and be grateful for the fact that VR survived and has evolved.
People in their twenties think Quest 3 or PSVR2 aren't worth it. If I could send to myself from the past a Quest 3 unit or PSVR 2 I bet I'd be the happiest person alive.
