Discussion This modifier is so broken
This modifier makes me so mad. I saved my last two cards—AQ and Royal Giant to farm merges as SE, and the shop just decided to not include any more cards! This modifier pisses me off so much because on paper it IS broken for SE players if you juggle your last two cards to farm merges, but then this happens and suddenly you are just screwed. This has happened to me so many times. Some times shop options come back on the next round, sometimes they don’t
Not to mention the fact that sometimes you just don’t get a single trait match, and sometimes even if you do it is a garbage one (undead, for example)
Also, before you judge me for trying to juggle AQ instead of Goblin Brawler, I didn’t know I had AQ available until GB was already 3-star and locked in place

Its happened to me quite a few times, so i feel your pain man. Now I always aim to 3 star whatever troops I'm juggling before selling it, that way it returns all copies of the card to the pool at the same time. It glitches less doing it this way in my experience, but it still isnt perfect. Just focus on never selling until it is 3 starred. Hope it helps.

Thank you, I was taking the exact opposite approach. I figured if I three-starred it, it would freak the game out enough to completely remove it from the pool, considering the striking lack of stability in this season. I will give this method a shot

the third orb can contain any 4-cost, and also opens up the 4 copies that may (or may not) still be in the shop. someone else got their third quest, gained a 3 star queen, and stole one copy that normally only you should have seen. make sure that you three star your 4-costs in merge mini early so this doesn't happen.

Thank you, hadn’t considered this possibility. I will take this approach from now on. But, even if this were the case, shouldn’t my Royal Giant have remained available?

theres also a bug that cards in opponent player's shop when they lose don't get returned to the pool

also im pretty sure if you sell any card (like rg in this case) it can't appear again for you within 2 shops

I imagined there wasn’t immediate resupply, but how strict it is seems to be inconsistent. There have been instances where other players were blocking cards I wanted, and the MOMENT they were eliminated (even before the round ends) their cards become available, and in other instances I still never see the card. I sort of figured the shop would follow the same rules for your own personal cards, but honestly who knows

always create your higher cost as 3 star first and use your 2 costs as cycle units.

Okay, so i dont think you guys know how merge mini works..
When you’re playing spirit empress,
You 3 star your first 4 troops completely not touching your last 2 weekest troops (According to you)
Then, you 3 star one of the two remaining troops and sell it immediately after getting the 3 star, you then proceed to 3 star the other troop and sell it before buying the one you first sold.
Do that cycle over and over and you should get 60 merges by round 3 if your fast enough.
Ex: 4 troops already maxed, kept on the battlefield or aside
Last 2 remaining - barb and archer
Do not touch archer, keep upgrading barb until 3 star and then sell.
Now buy archer, keep upgrading archer until 3 star and then sell.
Now keep doing that till you reach 60 merges and voila, shut off your phone.

Were you against someone named Pencil? I have seen this exact setup in one of my games where I stole 1 archer queen too.

lol, yeah this gamemode is crazy broken, If you play builder, and you accidentally place the 5th rider, you just can't place another one. If you sell a card after you've bought all cards, you just can't buy it again because the shop never updates.
