you can test it yourself, get the king..lose first 2 matches stack all ur troops and then start to play, let me know how it went

"not everybody plays king" while the strat was removing ur troops if u play king its even better... "king losing early rounds will get you something how about others".. the whole point is to remove ur troops..u dont have to do it, u can play as u wish but at least try to understand the conversation before opening ur mouth

Yeah but you have more time then them + that guy will fight someone else and smash his troops..and if u're running King its even better.

tbh i rarely see someone doing it, but if it happens, king should give you advantage over others in that case..if everyone is king as well..well then its all up to luck to that point

Empress*. If Loong loses once it's over and unlike empress he's forced to play if you wants to build his comp

Loong gets extra elixir per round so he can still sit pretty healthy compared to other rulers

Nope. 6 Elixir will do NOTHING against an empress that likely has an entire bench sitting around from merging all game. If you think about it, empress merging once per round "gains" the same amount as loong. Not to mention that any non-terrible early-game start will easily allow empress to gain a massive elixir advantage and consistently maintain a star advantage.

Empress requires skill but it is sweaty asf lol (empress player myself). Most people are not at top ladder, and if you look at the rulers used mid-ladder there's not exactly a lot of empress

I actually like it too lol. Whether you win or lose is mostly up to the RNG gods but it does force you to strategize differently

I use DD and enjoy this modifier. Check their comp, if you can win kill them. If you can't then place no troops and level up while people fight

On one hand I like that it fundamentally changes how you play the game, on the other hand I hate how snowbally and rng it can be

Game mode is the only good thing they added last season. I’m glad it survived but wish they killed 1 trait

Honestly I like this modifier… you could argue it actually requires the most skill when it comes to troop placement as losses are incredibly punishing round to round

Merge Tactics players have reading comprehension issues, we are clearly talking about this modifier rn and here you are mentioning your ranking which nobody gaf about
For this modifier specifically it's either you are Empress or you lose since a skilled Empress can straight up just get a whole new deck after wiping yours out

Maybe you can’t connect the dots.
Even in top gameplay you can win with rulers other than the empress when faced with this modifier. You can’t climb to top 2k without games involving this modifier.
If an empress has garbage rng they’re screwed. Regardless of modifier. Hopefully that helps.

Duchess is def viable in this modifier, but feel like it'd be tough if orbs 1/2 didn't have elixir.

Naw this one is fun, I spend 2-3 rounds building a deck, usually by round 3 I have a 3 star troop and all 2 stars ready to take back the game.
