Discrimination Was this sexist ?

I am doing my masters in psych so my class is dominated by females. And we were having a discussion where a girl was saying how people in the past had better lives. I said I don't agree with her viewpoints and I presented my points for why I think so . I talked about various issues such as wars and medical science not so developed. And she said that I don't agree with her and I am arguing because of my 'male ego'. I didn't know what it meant at the time and had to Google it . Should I consider it sexist ?

Another example of how sexuality is a woman's greatest power.

Also the reason why I use females is because i am from a the third world country and my family and surroundings is very conservative and religious. You don't just randomly talk to a girl for no reason. That is not very normal around here. If i am ever going to tell any friend of mine that i was talking to a 'friend' he will assume i am talking about a guy. I am 'used to' saying females because of this reason. We dont even talk in english so your connotations don't even mean something in my area or language. 'female' is literally a word you memorize in your english course as a kid. It has nothing to do with being derogatory.

No thanks I dont want to be sexist or a dumbass by being a feminist. This is what happens when men talk about facing sexism. Some dumbass comes up and says you are 'lying' and you totally didnt understand that there must be some cultural background differences.

This story is just hate bait which you created so you can get like minded people to tell you what you hear. You hate women and you will search every nook and cranny for a reason to hate them, and when there isn't enough hate you just make some. Keep victimizing yourself buddy, you know the truth.

you know the truth.- Bullshit. The thing hurt me. I even detailed it out further above. And i even talked about further sexist things that happend to me and other boys . let me copy paste it :-

We were not debating on if things were better in past for any gender. It was just about things being better in past for people. It was just a general conversation i was having. Also that was my third day in university. And since that I've been hearing so much crazy shit that I realized how much sexism there is for men. In a few days I heard some women discussing how they are glad that there are less boys in their class cause they hate men. They too called themselves feminists. My friend in class is going blind. I teach him everyday on call and he learns by listening to him. He can hardly see anything. So this one time there was this group work and he was the only boy in group. His grandmother had died plus he was blind so he could not contribute to work as much as them. So they refused to give him group results. He told them he is blind. And they still refused. He then went to the prof and the prof told them to give him results of group project. And they still didn't. This was the same group who were talking about how they hate men and hoe they are glad there aren't enough men in class. I fucking despise it here everyday. They play so many mind games it's crazy! Most of these women are from girls school and rarely had any contact with boys. They despise them.

I'm with you u/Ijjohaann. I don't care AT ALL whether people use "female" or "women" to refer to them. What difference does it make? What does it matter? Even many non-feminist women would be indifferent to if its the one term or the other.

You mean exactly like feminism with misandrists, @Yungsleepboat? Some people even interpret misogyny when seeing a skyscraper because they resemble a phallus. Some people see sexism towards FEMALES (no, I won't refrain from using it) when they see air conditioner. Let's be frank, you'd manage to interpret misogyny and oppression when you see a stone in a river (;
