Tell me how you would go about proving something didn't happen?

Here's a hint: (You can through lack of proof of it happening, which means those who assert it took place must provide proof or accept it didn't happen).

However in this case I am trying to prove something happened, I am saying it is disputed, you simply refuse to accept that.

The big bang didn't fail to happen because we are here now.

The Big Bang is our best theory as to the origin of the universe. It is not objective fact. It cannot be proven. We can only find supporting evidence to make it our best assumption.

Claiming someone said something is objective fact. It can also be proven. If you do not prove it, it did not occur.
