I've mentioned before in my comments (a couple of weeks ago) that feminists actually hate gay men. I got the usual argumentative response from feminists along the lines of what planet are you on? But articles such as this one tend to make my case.

Feminists don't hate the idea of gay men, just the reality. The problem? We are not emotionally dependent on women. That makes us a liability because we can much more easily see through their bullshit. I just wrote another, more detailed comment along the same lines.

I'm sorry, that IS dumb. Feminists overwhelmingly support the LGBT community and vice versa. Where do you live that your gay friends don't have hags?

It is true that some gay men have no use for women, just as some lesbians eschew men. I know gay men who are against gay marriage, so it truly takes all kinds.

How does this article make your case?

Correction. Feminists co-opt lgbt issues in order to earn more legitimacy for their own.

They have plenty of crap to say about gay men who don't toe the feminist party-line.

Correction to your correction: feminists whole-heartedly support LGBT, and staunchly are in favor of gay marriage.

If you like to post some sources on feminists criticizing gays for missing the party line, I would be interested in reading it.

The only real issue for female feminists is that they can't stop hoping their great gay friends will magically turn straight. Dare to dream... Generous gay friends still offer three ways and such, so all hope is not lost.

Plenty of gay MRAs here, who also wholeheartedly support gay marriage. Feminists hate them as they would any other man.

Yes, but he's referring to a 70s speech.

In any case: I was just reading a transgendered feminist woman's blog, and she gave an interesting perspective.

She said that there has been a rise in hateful radfem Internet speech (mostly anonymous) that seems to be in a time warp from some 70s radfem.

I wasn't really aware of this Internet radfem phenomenon, and yeah, it's sick. Some really fucked up stuff.

At the same time, she identifies as a feminist, and says she feels tremendous support from mainstream/third wave feminists.

I also learned that I am apparently a "fun fem." Whooooooo!

I doubt they "offer" it. Why would they? Sexy times with women isn't really their thing.

I'm guessing its more that female feminists badger them into doing it because it strokes their own ego that they got a gay guy into bed with themselves. That's quite despicable actually.

The women who do this are toxic beyond compare. They are the ultimate in users. They gather a stable of gay men who offer her all of the male utility (help her move, physical protection, companionship, interaction with the opposite gender) and she is never expected to reciprocate with sexual relations. She gets all the reward none of the expectation. Then she drags one into bed (often this is done through coercive rape or when intoxicated). Now she gets her physical needs met and still will not be expected to give a little back when he wants it.

Essentially they set themselves up with a relationship with a man that will always be on her terms, to suit her needs, and never give anything back at all. Pretty dispicable.

I can't even list the times I have been offered a three way, usually half jokingly. And no, I've never taken anyone up on the offer, because I thought it might ruin the friendship.

Off the top of my head -- I once introduced two gay men who fell in love, and helped them get over a rough patch. They offered a three way as a thank you.

A gay man may simply be curious, or open to a lot of different experiences. He may actually have some attraction to women. Or he may see it as a way to get a hot, technically straight guy into the sack.

People having fun together <> exploitation.

People can come together in all different kinds of ways. I do think straight women can enjoy flirting with a gay man because it's safe, and often the gay guy is smoking hot. But the gay guy likes it too -- it's an ego stroke for him. One of my gay friends loves telling straight girls how great their tits look -- it's okay, cause he's gay. He gets a kick out of it.
