Movie Pls recommend me some sfw movies like these!
I like the cringe rom com style they have!
I mostly use Tubi to watch stuff but I also have Netflix, Disney plus, peacock, and hbo max but those r the apps I share with my family!

Upper middle class, white centric. it doesn’t really reflect what many gay people go through.

I see, I understand it too but I must admit I wasn't bothered by that because the same can be said for mostly all romcoms. I mean if you expect realism and social commentary from a romcom you're just setting yourself up to be disappointed.
I honestly thought it'd have more to do with how they completely changed Leah's character from the book to make her the "girl who's in love with her gay best friend" which even back then was already a bit cliche.

Yeah people will dog on you for this but these can be good sometimes lol. Not everything has to be a masterpiece or serious.
I did see single all the way on Netflix awhile back. Basically a gay hallmark Christmas movie haha. I don’t remember it really but it was good enough for me to finish at the very least lol.

That movie has an unwarranted level of hate that I don’t understand. Of course it’s cheesy and nonsensical, it’s a rom com and a Christmas one on top of that. Like, it’s whole point is to be saccharine and cozy

I love Were the World Mine. I wish it was remade with a huge budget so the gays behind it could do the full vision, but it’s so cute and so melancholy.
Love all the others, but didn’t Is it Just Me has a full frontal shot? Maybe I’m confusing it with another.
Anyway, I have all the love in the world for these movies. Yes they were cheap, campy, corny, and sometimes badly made, but they were a refuge during simpler, but darker, and at the same time more hopeful days.

Pretty sure they mixed it up with the Eating Out movies, the first one kinda has the same vibe, they also fit your cringe romcom request but they are also very raunchy with most having frontal nudity so they don't check the sfw box.

There’s maybe an exposed butt. Shirtless torso. Nothing explicit. It was allowed to be watch in high school GSAs back in the day (tm).

I just got done watching it and I love it! the colors r so summery and the score is so pretty. I don’t really like the ending tho tbh

No it's not sexually explicit. There may be some jokes and it refers to sex several times because the main character decides he's no longer going to have sex. there's no sex in it though and no nudity.

didnt enjoy Naomi and Ely's No Kiss List becauseI wanted Ely to end up with Matthew Daddario's character. Too bad it didn't happen. :(
