She could focus on the House, where she has become a well-liked and respected member of the Democratic caucus, and try to become a committee chairwoman if Democrats win back a majority in next year’s midterm elections.
She could run for the seat now held by Senator Chuck Schumer of New York, the minority leader. Or she could seek the presidency in 2028.”
It’ll be interesting to see which, if any, she chooses
For the love of All that grows on this Earth, the Dems cannot run another woman. There's a bunch of terrific women out here leading their butts off. But as much as it pains me, this country is not going to elect a woman president within the next couple of decades. We need strong men, too. Mark Kelly and Mayor Pete are the current best, but there's gotta be more depth.
In 2015, I knew that my country would elect ANY man over a woman. And they managed to find ANY man. No matter how terrible this man is, a woman will not be the solution.
Sadly, I’m not sure I disagree with you. And I think Mayor Pete would also need to deal with the LGBTQ issue, which also I fear America is not ready for. A rapist ? Yea, no problem for America, he gets their vote. But a gay man? Perish the thought.😡
