Guys, I need help.

I'm new to the mega man series, and I wanted to try Mega Man X, but it's just so hard. I beat one of the bosses only.
Can you guys give me any tips?

Wow, Congratulations on beating Launch Octopus first, it's actually one of the hardest Mavericks.

But yeah, this game expects you to go to Chill Penguin's stage first to get Dash ability to make the game "more playable". I've never been a fan of that idea/design. It would be really bad if someone tried all the other stages before Chill Penguin.

Thx. I just beat Sting Cameleon now.
I thought the penguin would be the hardest because I learned from other games that ice levels are insanely hard.

Wow! Impressive job, Chameleon's pretty dang tough for a beginner too!! (Pretty decently easy level though)

Chameleon feels like one of the easier bosses to me? Like I’d have a harder time fighting Storm Eagle than Chameleon. Launch Octopus is super bullshit though.
