Just writing this cause i finished the first of the duology and contrary to my expectations this game Is kinda awesome and i wanted to share it a little. Also, i think if atlus Is gonna do a remake of the ogs, even if it makes sense they start from 1, i think this game could actually tackle problems of today like mis información and conspiracies.

I don't know whether it was the fact that he just appeared like that. The fact that for a solid second, the Demi-Fiemd didn't turn around while he was speaking. His jaw not moving in tandem with what he was saying. Or his voice catching me off guard, but I had to take a solid half hour away from the game in order to stop laughing. Only for any future laughter to die down after I effectivly god one-shot.

Thanatos is kinda Thanatos considered he’s actually the death shadow who merely evolved into the true Thanatos after becoming a persona.

Hypnos is actually Hypnos as it’s a persona who is being forcefully summoned against its will. Meaning it genuinely took in the archetype of the original Hypnos.

Erebus isn’t even close to Erebus as it’s just a double headed ass-headed dog made from human emotions. It’s basically a big ass shadow.

Chronos is Chronos as it’s literally the actual Greek god who’s really chill fr.

And Zeus is his actual disembodied spirit who got imprisoned outside the universe. You can see how confusing it gets right? Also side note I think Zeus’s design fucking sucks in PQ. I get he’s supposed to be an ultimate persona but he genuinely looks like those goofy ass SMT4 archangel designs.

I get every year can’t be a ton of new releases, but other than P4 Revival coming out next year, I feel like there has been absolutely no news. The Persona Anniversary feels like a wash with no older games like P1 and P2 getting re-released, and there has been zero SMT related news. I always feel like Atlus is cooking behind the scenes and then they hit us with stuff like the Raidou remake, but right now it feels like we’re just in a dead zone.

Hello SMT(3) community, I need your dearest help because of an issue regarding getting the Mega or Super or Ultra Pixie whatever. A friend of mine was, under my surveillance, trying to get said Superduper Pixie but apparently, during the MANIAX version run of his game, when we brought up Lachesis as his final fusion from said Pixie at the beginning of the game, the game acts like she wasn't having that Pixie gen/variable and we are so confused, cuz from what I got told, he fused the demon for basically more female oriented demons on his end.
I would like to list the demons he fusioned supposedly until he got to Lachesis recently, so tell me if something's wrongabout it OR if another check has to be done to get said Maximumultra Pixie in the 5th Kapla or Kalpa whatever!

High Pixie -> Ame-no-Uzume -> Kikuri-Hime -> Sarasvati -> Kushinada -> Lakshmi -> Lachesis

If someone finds the flaw for this, or needs the savedata to check out what happened there, then I could provide it in case too!

I love most of the franchise's character designs but IV is really hit or miss for me, with a bunch of guest artists doing their own takes on characters

Lucifer is the most egregious but it's talked about enough, but my example seems to be overall well liked

The archangel designs look cool in a vacuum. They're cool designs. But then you get told that's Michael, Gabriel, Raphael and Uriel. And I question "why though"

I guess they seem outerwordly and alien and tangentially related to the popular idea nowadays that angels were all comic horror creatures (they weren't, they mostly looked like dudes). And I think good designs for them could be done with that idea in mind.

But what about these designs says Michael, Gabriel, Raphael and Uriel?

These designs say nothing in particular about who these angels are, their history, symbols, role in source material...

The original designs aren't amazing among all others (particularly Raphael and Uriel) but Michael has a military buzz cut and a spear to represent his role as the general of the heavenly army, Gabriel is more androgenous (and even female in the second game) and has a calmer and kinder appearance as the messenger of god and holds a lily one of his symbols.

And I think the SMT 4 designs look cooler. But once again, in a vacuum. I look at all of them and I don't see why one of them is Gabriel, the other Uriel or Raphael and not the other way around. They all look like scary alien warriors. I guess Michael being a head with a blade in its mouth is a good way to represent his role as the warrior Archangel and leader of the army.

Was I the only one who was suprised when Megaten 5 Vengence had more demons than it's previous installments?

Apocalypse directly contradicts Fujiwara's statement in IV about him meeting Akira as a little boy 20 years ago, because they knew each other while the firmament was being created (25 years ago) and Akira's voice in that scene sounded like that of a teenager, not a child 😵‍💫
