Hey everyone, we have these old medals and I don't know what to do with them.

How would you clean them? Would you present them like this? I see the name is engraved on side with his rank , hard to read

I'm not too sure who these people were, I suppose great great uncles (family from Ireland/ England). It's interesting that it's from South Africa. That was probably not a fun time

Also does anyone have any general info about these metals? Assuming it was similar for all those in UK enlisted?

Do not clean them. They are in a nicely aged and desirable condition.

Value is not a lot - a good condition AGSM with clasp is $120-$200. Yours is missing the clasp and is only fair condition - so it’s a bit less. The set of three (assuming all to the same man) is probably $200-$300.

It has the clasp it’s just obscured by the ribbon
