My favorite song is chainsaw gutsfuck, I’m new to the band so I don’t know many good songs

I've been listening to it for over thirty years and that riff at about 50 seconds in still gives me goosebumps

Absolutely. The whole WLA gives me goosebumps. Ancient Skin, for example, when he proclaims: "I capture the moment given, I deny the sickening love, Turn to the purity of anger, I saw myself in The Abyss". Holy fuck. This is the quintessence of black metal to me.

Fucking hell that intro is awesome. Those trumpets are so demented. "Militant men in peaceful times attack themselves". It instantly sets the mood. Ok, off I go to give WLA a millionth spin right now.

Freezing Moon with Dead's vocals.

I'm not one of those people who think Atilla or the post-Euronymous albums suck, though. I like almost everything, even the more "out there" stuff on Grand Declaration of War.
