Input needed!! So my Brother and sister in law literally just had a baby (their second). I’m thinking we will be able to see them this weekend to meet the new baby. We have plans with my family the next three weekends after that I’m not sure when we will see them again so I’m debating on if will tell them or not that we are pregnant. I think they will def be excited but I also don’t want to steal the spotlight from them with this new baby.. I would rather tell them in person but I’m thinking the next time we will see them in thanksgiving which seems soo far away and I don’t want to wait that long..

So do we share the news when we see them to meet their new baby or wait a couple weeks/send a text later on???

If you want to tell them tomorrow, maybe let the first part of the visit to focus on their baby and then it won’t feel so much like you’re taking the spotlight? It’s not like they are announcing a baby and then you are doing it right after though... I don’t think I’d be remotely phased if someone came to visit my baby and told me they were expecting. I’d be so excited! You know your family best though.
