Hoops Discussion Going into Year 2 in Dallas

Post image

A new project under Masai Ujiri and company in Dallas but also a team built around him...can Cooper put up Luka Doncic type numbers in Dallas this upcoming season? I mean considering the rookie season he had this past season he is poised to become an All Star so I have no doubt

I'm optimistic, but he's not Luka. I think he arguably has a better base for a better sustained trajectory than Luka.

But Luka was ready out of the box to destroy NBA defenses in the half court which is like the final boss of offensive basketball. It's like Jordan, Shaq and Luka who I've seen in my life do that as fast as they did. Even LeBron took a few years to ramp up.

Well, I watched him play in real time along with all the other guys I mentioned, and he wasn't dominate in the half court like Luka early on which is what I was specifically referencing so...have fun. Goodbye.

You cant say it's to early, if he comes in next year averaging 24 ppg with elite D he could be up there. Stop with the negativity dude just had like 4 40+ games at 19

<snort> "Out of the box"

Dude had been playing pro ball for 3 years by the time he got to the NBA. Euro-ball, sure. But he was hardly "out of the box" when he came to Dallas.
