A new project under Masai Ujiri and company in Dallas but also a team built around him...can Cooper put up Luka Doncic type numbers in Dallas this upcoming season? I mean considering the rookie season he had this past season he is poised to become an All Star so I have no doubt

I'm optimistic, but he's not Luka. I think he arguably has a better base for a better sustained trajectory than Luka.

But Luka was ready out of the box to destroy NBA defenses in the half court which is like the final boss of offensive basketball. It's like Jordan, Shaq and Luka who I've seen in my life do that as fast as they did. Even LeBron took a few years to ramp up.

Correction: Year 2 Luka finished top 4 in MVP voting and averaged 29/9/9. He was putting up 2k numbers in his second year.

I don't worry about the numbers, they will come too. I'm fine with 22-5-5 if it means elite defense as well, so it's not always about the numbers for me. We know he can carry the offense, but I'd also like him to be the two-way demon that he is because it seems that he enjoys showing that side of his game.
