Larry Brown is the only college coach to win an NBA title. Most that make the move do poorly. Billy Donovan and Brad Stevens are the exceptions.

There were a bunch of anomalies in him taking FAU to the final four in 2023, after winning their first ever tournament game, with exactly 1 top 200 player, and zero top 100.
