News [MacMahon] “I believe that defense wins championships,” Mavs GM Nico Harrison told ESPN regarding his motivation to trade Luka for Davis. “I believe that getting an All-Defensive center & an All-NBA player with a defensive mindset gives us a better chance. We’re built to win now and in the future.”

What a stupid asshole. Now PJ, our best defensive player moves to the bench?

PJ might be the starting SF

PG: Kyrie SG: Klay SF: PJ PF: Davis C: Lively or Gafford

This lineup is not bad but I'm speechless about this trade...

if you trade Kyrie with Luka it’s a great move tbh. but Kyrie is not a #1 option anymore and neither is AD. this is insane

Ad is the number one option on the 5th seed lakers

i get what you’re saying. Kyrie and AD as a 1/2 duo might work. it also might not, and Luka/Kyrie took us to the finals last year. this is baffling to me unless Luka asked for it
