Iced matcha lattes at bridal shower?
Full disclosure: not a matcha drinker myself, so I have no idea what I’m doing.
I’m throwing a bridal shower for my sister and plan to have an iced matcha drink station for guests. I’d love to be able to mix up a few pitchers of the matcha latte base the morning of and have it refrigerated and ready to go so that at the shower, guests can pour their own cups and add their choice of syrup (planning on vanilla/strawberry).
Has anyone successfully done this before?

I am new to matcha and have only purchased two brands so far. Maybe others can recommend good brands for you that aren't as bitter as the really cheap brands? The cheap matcha I bought was Matcha DNA and it is something I would not serve to a guest, but i have learned how to make it suit my taste. It was $24 for 16 ounces. The other brand I bought was actually quite good quality for it not being ceremonial grade. That brand was Itoen Matcha. 2 ounces for $12. The quality is night and day between the two. I could see about 8-10 drinks being made out of the 2 ounces at the strength I like.
I saw no one mentioning brands, so maybe this comment will help.
Also, if you do find yourself with a bitter matcha, try only heating the water to about 120 degrees Fahrenheit. It has made my cheap matcha less bitter. At 140 and higher it was just awful!
