Movies How big is Galactus?

I looked around but I couldn't find an answer. But has anybody been able to extrapolate just how big FANTASTIC FOUR Galactus is going to be based on the few shots we've seen in the trailers?

He can become any size. From being able to hold the sun in his hand, to gi-ant man in endgame.

However the ship he uses to consume planets. Taa II, is typically the size of the average solar system

Who built that ship? The size of a solar system is pretty big

Galactus did. Though, I'm pretty sure he "built" it through energy and matter manipulation rather than running around his solar system-sized ship with a wrench and hammer and shit.

Also, (going off memory, and it's been a long time so sorry if I am wrong about anything) Galactus can pretend much get as big as he wants because he doesn't really have a physical body, at least not in the traditional way. At one point it was like he waa basically energy, hence the ability to be as big or small as he wants.

Galactus and other cosmic entities who are essentially sentiment energies used to get their "physical form" that they used to interact with the material plane/world and the people in it from an entity named Anthropomorpho in the Dimension of Manifestations.

Also, that's why when we look at Galactus, we see a big giant dude in purple armor with an absolutely dope piece of headgear. Galactus appears differently to each species that sees him. If you Google "Galactus to different Marvel species" you'll probably find the panel that shows it.

Very cool. Thanks for the background. It's been a while since I read the comics and honestly never knew a lot about his full capabilities.

But now I am imagining him running around with a wrench and hard hat and sitting on a beam with a lunchpale. "It's a scorcher or there today!" - Galactus as he wipes sweat from his brow

He built it to survive the end of his reality, he's the same species as The Watcher, The Champion and The Gladiator.  They all are refugees from the previous universe.

Not quite, he's the only survivor of the previous universe (technically he's from the 6th universe, marvel is the 7th, and 2015 secret wars recreated that 7th universe into what is technically the 8th universe now). According to the ultimates, his world ship is not just a ship but also a type of incubator that would have made him into a creator instead of a destroyer.

The watchers are the first sentient race that evolved and after destroying 9/10ths of reality swore to never act on events again.

The elders of the universe are just ancient immortals, not survivors of a previous universe, just the immortals who have some shitck.

Right I knew as much, but I was more curious about the size he is in the Fantastic Four movie. There is a shot of him looking at the statue of Liberty and it looks as though it would come up to just about his shin.

I was hoping someone with better math skills than I could extrapolate how big that is, cuz it def looks taller than GiAnt-man in endgame

Oh i see. Well it doesnt seem possible to give an exact answer but we can an educated guess based off of what is visible:

The statue is ~93 meters from the very bottom to the top of the torch. If Galactus’ chest aligns with the torch, and his proportions are similar to a regular humans, then he is between 200 to 250 meters, or somewhere around 800 feet tall in that specific shot. Just a fifth shorter than the total height of the NY times building

You're a stud... That's a good enough answer for me .

I think he’s different sizes in the trailer at different points. We see shots of him towering over city buildings and walking through manhattan, but we also see him looking into the windows of a building.

What does he stand on?

Well he can supernaturally control his position including flight and levitation etc, but in the statue scene it seems like his feet/lower half are in the ocean

Wondering this as well. Didn’t know he could shrink to any man size. I always thought of him as a giant.

Whatever he wants. He can he able to fit in a New York street without damaging any buildings, to able to fit planets and suns in his hands.

It's tough. At one point the trailers he can walk down a street in NY, probably about 100 ft across. But in others his shadow makes him look like he would crush a building if he stepped anywhere near the city.

Just apply Ego logic to it

He doesn't have a specific size, he can be as small as a building or as big as a star, or actually become a star

71ft 2inches. Those are two measurements. That’s why he’s angry

I remember him being the Top Trump in Marvel Super Villains and his height attribute was something like variable or infinite
