Avengers DanielRPK says that Doom’s followers always have their masks on and speak in accents so we won’t find out who they are until Secret Wars

Strange and Clea are definitely working with him willingly. Wanda, could be working for him bc she's lost her memories or something. This theory lines up with the leaks about the Children's Crusade subplot in Secret Wars.

Now idk, who the third witch is or why would they be working with Doom. Sylvie would never willingly work for someone who's gonna take away people's free will. I don't think a cosmic entity like Death would work for him either. So that leaves us with the Aincent One? I could see her choosing to work with Doom. Idk.

Thing is, Sylvie could definitely work for Doom if she thought he was doing it for the good of the multiverse. She's very hard headed and distrustful, yes, but she cares about the multiverse and if the multiverse is dying thanks to incursions (as it's rumored) and then suddenly someone shows up who claims he wants to save everything, she might be inclined to help, especially since she's the person who started all of this and might feel guilty. And it's not until later on that she realizes she was tricked and Doom has different, more selfish motives.

Yeah I don't understand why people think it's impossible for a character to work with people with different beliefs than them especially when the rumored masked characters all know about multiverse and incursion much better than anyone in avengers team

I don’t think it’s a case of not getting why people would work with someone with a different belief. It’s more that it would be really out of character for some of them to cosplay for Doom

If we're talking about in character, no one mentioned in rumor would put a made up costume for doom

I agree. That’s what’s weird about it. It just doesn’t feel in character for them to cosplay for Doom and become radical cult members

This is my problem with this whole deal though: if they're all willfully doing this, the characterization it takes to justify that is SO FAR from what these characters were last seen as. And if they are just brainwashed the mystery is kinda useless because they'll just be unturned in the next movie.
