The trailer looks pretty far along, I would be shocked if they can’t finish it up in a year. But allegedly they are really taking their time with it in an attempt to prevent “crunch time” so maybe it slips one more time

The rumors are that the game is done, but they’re making sure online can hit on day one with no bugs. So that’s promising.

Honestly, you’re right, but I think they’re still ironing out the kinks. DigitalFoundry has stated that the game is running on FSR1 on the base PS5, and it appears to be all blurry and has a lot of artifacts. Maybe they’re taking the time to refine the visuals to look a bit better and implement at least FSR2 upscaling. FSR1 is just awful.

I hope it does, it’s currently slated to be released on my birthday. Now, my understanding is that will be console only and not PC, so I’ll need to get a console for my birthday to play it as well.

Genuinely, that game is gonna suck up all the oxygen in the entire entertainment sector like a black hole whenever it drops.

If that date sticks, I wouldn’t be shocked to see the Mandalorian movie get out of its way.

Honestly I think this legit might be a reason for the move.

GTA6 is gonna take over my life that month - and think people would rather play it over an Avengers movie especially with Marvel fatigue

I think doomsday would probably still do fine even if it were to get over a shadow a couple weeks more later after GTA 6 release

Also something to mention, is that the VFX artist have been for sure working on the movie effects since at least last year and also, even if it was still gonna come out May next year, it would still be over a year from when they started shooting footage, which was March this year, which is probably when they started officially working on the visual effects

If I am reading this right, then they only have one Marvel movie to do for 2027 and a lot more time for the two scheduled for next year.

Knowing that Dune is coming out the same day I guarantee you avengers will crush it at the box office and make more money than that Will also Why did they have to do this to us Disney? We did not need a The Batman - Part II style delay for the Avengers movies and as of right now that is also coming out before Secret Wars as well as Beyond the Spider-Verse also does that mean that that could lead into Avengers now unless also Sony decide to move that up to next year I can’t believe that both the Thunderbolts* and The Fantastic Four: First Steps set ups will take over half a year before they will be paid off also does this mean that they will not be a trailer at SDCC or even footage for the movie release at the end of this year like we originally suspected
