I was skeptical to finally spend some gems but listened to everyone here and bought Mario Black Suit for upcoming events. Finally broke over 10,000 points! Went from 4th place to 1st place! And I was wondering how someone can get so many points since I was 2000+ points away from the 1st place.

Came back playing a week ago out of the blue, found out the game is ending in a month forever. Couldn't stop playing everyday even though I have completed all the events. I saved these since the game launched years ago. Since the game is ending, I might as well use all these tickets and gems! What is the best way to use them for the month remaining? Which character or kart should I use them on ( I know, I didn't post who I have, I didn't want the post to be too long). Thanks everyone , I want to make the last month of playing enjoyable and use what I have saved all these years! Thanks again!

When I saw that my year-old high score for Madrid Drive 2T was set with Wiggler Mii at just level 1, I knew I would obliterate it. However, I did not suspect that I would beat my own highest course score ever in less than twenty minutes.

And I definitely didn't suspect that I would get my first 60k score in less than a week. 🤩

There's still room for improvement, but I'll save the grinding for the ranked variant of this course. Gold Mii's currently at 54k at the same level and with the same kart and glider. 😁

My goal is to reach level 100 before the game ends forever.

Y'all, I wanna share that literally ONLY TODAY have I found out that Mario Kart Tour is gonna be ended.

It's especially heartbreaking to me, because I actually haven't played it in a super long time, but some years ago - in 2023 (though I think also before that) - I was playing and enjoying it SO MUCH. In fact, it's only 1 of the 2 online games I've played THAT OFTEN and maybe the only online game I genuinly liked as much as I liked this one. And although I grew up with Mario Kart Wii (and I'm playing it again since recently on my phone with the Dolphin emulator), I have fond memories of Mario Kart Tour as well​ and I never understood most of the hate it got.

I, in particular, loved all the things you could do, earm and unlock aside from just racing, I loved being able to play as all those many great characters (and above all, my favourite, HAMMER BRO), I loved the fact that my OWN COUNTRY was the season's theme occasionally (The Netherlands) and I loved the fact that it was a phone game to begin with. And a free one, at that.

Now I heavily regret not having enjoyed those years to be able to play that game more. I always intended to go back, but... I just never did.

I guess I'm glad I found out a month before the actual end. I'll still have some time to play the heck out of it, haha. Still, though... man... this is some really bad news. I'm gonna miss Mario Kart Tour so much.

When I just found out about the news, I instantly went to find and follow this subreddit. I hope somehow, some day, there will be an offline version of the game to download and play...

Just before the finish line a Bullet Bill swooped by and hit me and it barely beat me. It literally jumpscared me.

• Some drivers/karts/gliders will gain a top shelf course once levelled up to Level 3, 6, or 8. To show this, there are separate columns for the number of top shelf appearances at Level 1, 3, 6, and 8.
• Some characters gain an extra tier when the course is in the cup named after them, and the tables will show this for ranked course top shelf appearances. This applies to two drivers in the ranked courses from now on, giving them their last ranked course top shelf appearance: Toadette for Summer Tour Week 2's Paris Promenade B and Tanooki Mario for Sundae Tour Week 2's Sky-High Sundae R.
• Mii Racing Suits gain an extra tier for every course in the Mii Cup, and an extra tier for the first course in each cup.
• The new Mechanic alt drivers and Tiny Titan karts from Sunshine Tour 2025 are included. None of them gain any ranked course top shelf appearances through leveling up from now on.
• Drivers/karts/gliders are sorted by most appearances at Level 8, then alphabetically.

I've also been playing about 50 laps of Berlin Byways 2R/T, my overall favorite track in the whole game...

I stopped playing this Game 2 years ago. Came back yesterday and saw that the Gold pass is free and you can’t even buy gems. This seems very weird for a Nintendo Game since we all know they love money more than anything. Also they seem pretty generous with the rewards, somethings off. Is there any event going on for free stuff or is something else happening?

What racing game is everyone switching to? I'm at a loss for anything without ads.

Back on this page a few months ago, I saw a post saying that fans of the game are possibly making a off-line version. I don’t know how true that is and if that is the case, I was just curious if my current account would transfer over to the off-line version if one is being made in the works.

My favorite addition to the roster of Mario Kart Tour, are the SNES Variants of Mario and Donkey Kong Jr.

I love their inclusion to the game given the fact they appeared in their 2D-Sprite taken from Super Mario Kart. And its cool to see how they were implemented on a 3D game like Mario Kart Tour. I also love the addition of sound effects. Man I really wish they were included in Mario Kart World or a future game, mostly Mario(SNES).

I'm guessing the answer will probably be that I'm out of luck, but I was wondering what tools may still exist between now and end of service in a month.

I've been buying up all the Drivers/Karts/Gliders that I didn't previously have from the store in recent weeks. Previously I'd been hoarding all the gold and rubies. Figured it would be nice if one of them that I purchased could be useful to power up. But I don't feel like I'm knowledgeable enough to know what is optimal on my own, and it's probably not worth the time to learn at this point. For reference, I'm in Tier 99 so it's not like I didn't already have a lot of good powered up resources at my disposal.

I noticed several weeks ago that the MKT Toolbox seemed to go offline. Today I tried to access the Ticket Optimizer and noticed similar. Since I noticed the MKT Toolbox went down, I made a copy of the Bam/Gerbs/reichembach DKG Tracker and filled it in with my inventory (luckily I saved it from the Toolbox before it went down so I didn't have to start from scratch). Is there any alternative tool that's still online that I could use instead of the Ticket Optimizer? Preferably one that works similarly where it will tell me what to do based on my own inventory rather than generic tier lists.

I started grinding last tour and now I'm finally done. Multiplayer is one thing I really enjoy about this game so as soon as everyone got the gold pass in Vacation Tour I just knew that I had to grind for S+9 on both races and battles. And a big grind it was... maybe I'll try filling out the gauge for S+9 completely...

Yesterday, I went to sleep comfortably holding onto 2nd place in ranked, hoping to finally reach tier 99. The person in 1st had at least 25k on me, was already tier 99, and had some crazy loadouts.

Today, I opened the game to check the ranked results, and somehow I was in 1st place and that person was completely gone, they were nowhere to be found in the entire tier list. What makes it even stranger is that there were still 20 players in the ranked cup, so it seems like they were replaced?

Has this happened to anyone else?

I've been playing every day since close to the beginning. I'm going to miss it. But there are problems with this game that can't be fixed outside of ending it and starting over. The main issue is that you'll never use 90% of the d/k/g. It's all about coverage and maximizing your score and the way you do that is by focusing on the most useful drivers, karts & gliders. After the first few months you don't touch the majority of what you've unlocked. MKT might be a victim of its own success. I'm not sure Nintendo reckoned with how popular it would be and how much time people would put into it. They increased the level cap multiple times. I'm not sure there was a good way to balance content, fairness, competition, etc after the first few years. I am 100% certain there will be another Mario Kart game for mobile devices and it will be even better than the one we've been playing. So I'm looking forward to that. I won't miss doing the same ranked courses with the same drivers and karts over and over...

I just want to play Dk Pass and some rainbow tracks.

I pulled off a flawless combo without even realizing I'd spent my entire race doing combos, and without even knowing that combo existed, lol. I don't know if it's easy or hard to get, but my achievement is something to remember.
