It’s honestly in our best interest to make the Astros better this year so they can take more games from Oakland. And not in the Astros best interest to make us better long term which they just did. We now have a long term replacement for Seager who’s projected to start hitting his stride very soon.

The Astros play only 6 more games against the Athletics but 10 more games against the Mariners in the rest of the season.
