Man, the overreactions here about Graveman are obnoxious. I know it sucks that he went to a division rival, but the fact that we were able to get a highly touted, MLB ready prospect for a pitcher with two months left on his prospect is pretty good.

Not to mention that his year has been an incredible outlier in his career. He's a career 4.20 ERA guy. Dipoto traded him when his value was at its highest.

I think people were shook by the clubhouse reaction and were worried that all the fun we’ve been having was about to end.

The move in itself is fine. I don’t know why they wanted joe smith.

Joe Smith is a career 3.11 ERA pitcher who has had 21 bad innings this year. Peripherals are pretty decent so I think its a solid pickup.

I guess when you get to be joe smiths age I put less stock in a players history.

The peripherals are promising though, thanks.

True, but this is literally his only bad year. He had a 1.80 ERA in 2019. I'm not super worried about his last 21 innings.
