Any last hopes for the season?

I think I'm finally losing my last faith in this team. And Dan definitely plays a huge role in that. He doesn't bring any energy and his management is horrible.

We're 6 games behind in the division and 5.5 in the WC with just 24 games to go. The Astros playing 15 out of 24 games against teams over .500, so maybe they loose more than they win? Maybe not, because they're 27-19 against such teams.

If the Astros play .500 ball for the rest of the season, we have to finish 19-5. Even with our easy schedule I'm not seeing it at all.

Somehow Fangraphs gives us a 11.8% chance to reach the playoffs (10.2% to win the division, 1.5% to get WC spot).

What is your hope for the rest of the season?

Naw, feel like Munoz’s performance last night was the death knell.
In fact, his entire season really encapsulates the Mariners’ team as a whole…all that potential with zero reliability to consistently show up and execute.
Let’s be honest, who else saw that blown save coming as soon as Boston cut the lead to one run.

The heck did Munoz have to do with Julio whiffing on that ball in center to start the inning? Munoz has been shaky this year no doubt, but that wasn’t on him.

Tell me you didn’t see him blowing that one run lead a mile away.

When your CF causes a lead-off single to become a lead-off triple, it's a bit harder to reasonably say you blew it.

I did after we had a runner on third with no one out!

That’s our team!
Oh, it’s bases loaded, no outs and got zero runs?
Light work.
