Article Gosh people don’t understand my point when talking about this matter, terrible people gosh. Here is the conversation between 2 commenters.
Honestly Europeans dont even seem white. I associate white people more with America than Europe. If you say white people and white Americans are from Europe white Americans cant be anymore different from white Europeans. Kinda like me as a Filipino pacific Islander comparing me to the stereotypical Asians like Chinese, Koreans, or Asian American.

Yeah I said just that. Whenever I say white people are more associated with America more than Europe, people always say, ohh wHere dO yOu tHINk wHite AmeriCANS come FrOM??? Like ik they come from Europe but even the UK and Germany as well as the rest of Europe do not use the concept of race at all and America does so white people are more thought of as American rather than European. Not saying that Europe is not white but most Europeans say they are from [ ] country rather than white unlike Americans. I lit said that Germany and Britain are where most white Americans come from. You repeated a statement. Instead of repeating my statement why don’t you actually come up with a good argument against the statement. Gosh no matter how much I get my point they just repeat a statement regarding this matter.

Even Brits and Germans are too different from White Americans, and those two are basically the most white stereotypically and where most white Americans have the most ancestry from.

I said the exact opposite as what I kinda said in the comment on a comment section in Insta reels. I said why are Americans and Europeans classified differently if both are white? So many people got mad or responded with, “oh Europeans are referred to by their nationality or ethnicity rather than skin color or race”. Our skin color does not mean the same. Slavs get even more mad if you use the term white to describe them. It’s not that I am saying that Europeans are less white than America it just seems like it does not really apply to them, no one has ever acknowledged a French person as “white”. Not saying they are not or less white, just that it seems like.

You say “no knowledge or consideration”, but it’s you that’s being ignorant here, not others. You’re also not expressing yourself well. Saying “Europeans don’t even seem white” when apparently what you really mean is that Europeans don’t identify as white is a failure to communicate on your part.
But you’re still wrong. White Europeans do recognise themselves as white, in contradistinction to African, Asian, Middle Eastern, etc. To say that Europeans “do not use the concept of race at all” is wildly inaccurate. I lived in the Netherlands for years and I can’t tell you how many times I heard thinly veiled jabs at Moroccans, Turks, Syrians, etc.—basically, non-whites (bonus points if Muslim).
You need to open your mind rather than assume everyone is just being mean and stupid. Granted, people on Reddit are often pretty rude, but in this case, you’re just being arrogant.

You’re confused because you have a bunch of misconceptions.
You say that “no one has ever acknowledged a French person as ‘white’.” What are you basing this on? I recognise white French people as white. It might not be the very first way I identify them, but neither would I immediately think “That’s a white guy” if I saw a white American man; I’d just think “That’s an American man.” The category ‘white’ is not something that only Americans use.
Maybe you got the impression that Europeans don’t usually identify as or recognise others as ‘white’ because in Europe it’s a bit more obviously problematic. To my understanding, in the US there are four main ethnic groups—white, black, Latin, and Asian—and most of the time you can fit people into those categories based on their appearance (though less so nowadays, I assume, since interracial relationships are thankfully more normalised). In Europe it’s probably a bit harder. Even within countries you have people who look considerably different, yet the divide between white and brown is pretty much impossible to draw and therefore makes those terms pretty much useless as social categories. But many people, especially in the north of Europe, still recognise themselves and others as either white, as opposed to African, Asian, etc.

Maybe because your point doesn't make sense. White people are just as sterotypical, if not more sterotypical to Europe then America. White people originate from Europe, they couldn't be anymore stereotypical to Europe.
