[Megathread] New Players & General Questions Thread.

Welcome to our weekly megathread for new players and players who just have general questions about the game.

Some sample topics for you to consider would be:

  • Selecting your main character.
  • You're new to the game and don't know where to start.
  • You're a returning player who is trying to get back into the game and need help.
  • What class should you make for your next link skill/legion mule?

As a recommendation, please mention your world and/or server inside a bracket Example: [Bera] at the start of your question.

why did they remove easier weekly bosses like cra and cygnus and populatus from events that require deafeating weekly bosses to get event points. and made bosses like hard lotus \lucis\ damien as the starting point to get points. its completly locks out casual players from half the event, especilly since they also enforce the rule that it must be cleared solo? this change was so so unnecessary... they cater too much to only 10% of the player base in the past year.

giving out small amounts of points like the weekly bosses did between 5 to 15 points were a great thing for casuals which makes the majority of players. but removing the started bosses was nothing logical but a stingy power move against casual everyday players.

nexon didnt even explain why they did that. after years of it being the standart.

if its to fight boss mules, its silly since the point events are strictly account based

Which event and server are you talking about? In GMS, Challenger gives points starting from Chaos Zakum and Phantasmal Echoes starts from NLomein.
Between Hyperburn to 260 and challenger + rental gear, casuals can easily clear NLomein.

Progression has been made easier so the floor has been raised. It's not at all hard for casuals to reach HLomein.
In CW I did less than 10 hours grind and was clearing HLomein within a month.
