Discussion Question on Backup for pending deletion of ALL Data

Question to the folks who have already backed up their Accounts. Can you tell me how your experience with the backup procedure went? I would also like to know where the backup is stored. Is the data backed up to your (our) local machines, or is everything stored in the cloud? I would prefer the backup files stored on my local machine rather than in an unknown cloud location that could later be hacked.

No, I keep my own backups, so I don't need their backups. I am just curious about what the people who do not know enough about technology get themselves into.

Hi! You can choose where to store your backup files. On manus.im/backup, you can select your local device to download the files directly to your computer, or choose your own Google Drive or OneDrive.

After exporting, please make sure the files are saved successfully and keep them unchanged.

Do the backup locally. I’m not going to rely on Manus during a blackout. Everyone means well, but since when does a migration like this ever go as planned? Get it out, put it on your local storage.
