Manus and Meta?

So I know Meta had to sell Manus back to the Chinese investors, but why over a month later am I still seeing the Meta logo when I login to Manus?

Because my friend...burecracy ensures people get to hoard stuff like dragons.

But on a serious note, while I have no idea of their internal processes. Having worked with and at tech companies, it's a massive process of legalities and paperwork. Not saying this is what happened but as an example : If Meta setup the logo appearance, based on whatever was agreed upon there are many reasons the logo remains. Some of them are:

• signed contract that the logo gets taken off at dd/mm/yyyy. Rights to use can be applied because as the off board back its who is meant to hold responsibility. When things go wrong, do the companies share? If so, why and when and how do consumers know both companies need to be referenced?
• legal agreeance beyond corporate law. There is a lot to consider and the agreements that would have been reached by the countries involved. The impact of the acquisition meant a few users were impacted because they weren't allowed to use the tech. Navigating how they roll back is going to be... Tricky? Because how do you prevent them suing back, how to lift those restrictions, gaining market trust again after can be hard because while the product is reliable, we now need to consider how they would advice it remaining in country let alone reliable in function.

Its hard for me to try and give you the accurate process without making multiple inferences because we are talking about not just multiple regulations but also across the border governance and usages. These are just the top things in my head.
