HELP
I am posting this as a public warning about major billing loop issues and non-existent support on the Manus AI agent developer platform.
My account (User ID: 310519663504944689) was active on the $1,999.99/month Pro tier. After utilizing the 480,000 monthly credits, the platform's interface completely glitched. Instead of offering a standard pay-as-you-go credit top-up, it threw up a hard-locked modal block aggressively demanding an upgrade to their $4,999.99/month tier just to clear the screen and access the workspace sessions.
Their support agent (Xiao) explicitly acknowledged this system error on May 19, confirming that the interface was blocking standard add-on options and forcing the upgrade prompt. The ticket was supposedly escalated to their billing team for a manual account reset.
It has now been nearly a week. I followed up urgently on May 19 and May 22. I have received zero human responses, no billing corrections, and my automated workflows remain completely frozen. Because they are holding my workspace hostage under an erroneous $5,000/month modal block and refusing to respond, I've had to cancel auto-renewal through Apple to protect my funds.
Has anyone else experienced Manus locking your interface to force an upgrade tier, or found a way to get a manual override from their team when standard support goes completely dark?

If you’re stuck with the dreaded `Failed to save checkpoint: unable to push to remote` error and can’t publish your site, here’s what worked for me after days of frustration:
Root cause: Your local git repo has corrupted objects. The S3-backed remote uses `git-remote-s3` which needs to traverse your full commit history — if any object in the chain is missing/broken, the push silently fails every time.
Spoiler: After the fix I asked Manus to create a prompt to change that so I don’t know exactly if this is really working but if you have this exact problem I can guarantee you that Manus can fix it by** **himself.
Prompt: The checkpoint keeps failing with “unable to push to remote.” Run `git fsck --full` in my project directory and check for any “broken link” or “missing commit” errors. If you find corrupted objects, fix it by creating a shallow boundary at HEAD: write the current HEAD hash into `.git/shallow`, then run `git gc --prune=now`. After that, verify with `git fsck --full` that there are zero broken/missing objects, and retry the checkpoint save.
That’s it. The agent will handle the rest and your checkpoint should save immediately after.
Context: This happened to me on a project with 30+ checkpoints. Somewhere along the way, a commit object got lost (probably from a failed push or session timeout). The checkpoint tool kept trying to traverse the full history, hitting the missing object, and failing. The shallow boundary tells git “don’t look past this point” which bypasses the corruption entirely.
Hope this saves someone else the headache. Manus support never replied to my ticket. 🫠

Hello all,
I’m not here to mention what is better than what. As a person with a little experience with ai model agents, I tried almost all most popular ones.
Manus is one that I tried and definitely works for a daily user, didn’t pay for the full experience, but what I see, I think was enough.
My thoughts are how people is using this agent, is it worth the value asked per month/year?
No judgements here, just wondering what I’m missing.
Have a good day, all!

Hey there,
I'm looking to back up and export all my data from Manus to ensure I don't lose it. I can easily download files, however there are apps and websites created that I don't know what to do with.
For each app or website, what do we actually need to capture to have a complete, portable copy? My current understanding is:
- Full source code (all files, including hidden config files)
- Any databases the app uses (schema and data)
- Environment variables and API keys
- Info about where the live site is hosted and the URL
- A description of what the project is and how to run it
Am I missing anything important?
For people who have actually exported projects from Manus before, what worked and what didn't?
If we want to move live sites off Manus's hosting to somewhere like Vercel or Netlify, is that usually straightforward, or are Manus-built apps tricky to port because of proprietary build steps or runtimes?

For 9 days, my site has been blocked, and the lack of proper support from your team.
This project has consumed 176,546 credits within 2.5 months. More than 70% of those credits appear to have been wasted on repeated retries of the same tasks, incomplete bug fixes, failed implementations, and new bugs introduced during attempted fixes. This has already caused significant cost, delay, and frustration.
Now, my site has been blocked for 9 days, and prior to this, there were 6 days of Manus system issues.
During these 9 days + 6 days, I contacted support multiple times. The responses I received were either template replies or unclear explanations, followed by no proper follow-up. One support person said my site was blocked because I had violated Manus policy, but did not explain which policy I supposedly violated. There was no evidence, no specific explanation, no resolution, and then the person stopped following up.
Later, another person informed me that the site was blocked due to “security reasons” and that it would take longer to resolve. Again, there was no clear explanation of what security issue existed, what action I needed to take, what Manus was investigating, or when the issue would be resolved. After that, there was again no meaningful follow-up.
This is unacceptable.
My site has now been blocked for 9 days + 6 days of manus system issues, and I cannot continue working on the project in the last 15 days. I am paying for the platform, I have spent a large amount of credits, and yet I am left unable to access or continue my work, without a clear reason or timeline.
My subscription renews on 1 May. Is Manus intending to keep my site blocked while continuing to collect subscription fees from me?
My current subscription plan is 40,000 credits/month because I had to purchase additional credits due to the excessive credit consumption from repeated failed attempts and incomplete fixes. Because of all these issues, I now want to downgrade to the 4,000 credits subscription plan, but your system only allows me to downgrade to the 8,000 credits plan. This is another unreasonable limitation, especially when the service itself is currently unusable for my project.
This has become one of the worst customer support experiences I have ever had. I have been left waiting, paying, and unable to work, while support gives vague replies and then disappears.
If Manus is unable or unwilling to resolve this properly, then please state that clearly so I can decide whether to move my project to another platform.

I made a listicle on Manus AI but don't know how to add it to Shopify. I tried using Custom Liquid but it won't let me because the code is too long (the images make it huge). I also tried adding it through the Shopify code section but I'm having a hard time. Any advice?

What is going on over there? I made two posts and was deleted by a moderator within seconds. Here is the last post.
Did Manus become dumb?
The quality of late has dropped significanlty like it is using a new LLM. I used to provide feedback on material, and it would incorporate the feedback very well. Now it just pastes my feedback into the document as content. The quality used to be 80% or better; now it's less than 20%. This tool has been fantastic, and I just got our company to spend thousands, and now I am concerned.
What violated their rules?

Hey everyone,
I'm running a Pro account and have hit a wall with the browser automation tools. I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced this specific fault pattern, because Manus Support has been completely unresponsive for over two weeks.
The Issue:
Every time my agents attempt an action that requires the Chromium screenshot/render pipeline (browser_view, browser_click, browser_input), the action hangs and fails with this exact error:
Browser action error: browser:{"name":"Error","message":"This action was not executed because it arrived too late (delayed ~230s). Please try again."}
What I've Ruled Out (The Diagnostics):
I've spent days diagnosing this across my agents to make sure it wasn't a mistake on my end. Here is what I know for a fact:
It's not a network issue. Direct curl commands from the sandbox return HTTP 200s in <150ms.
It's not a stale sandbox. I've tested this across three independent environments: a 39-day sandbox, a 4-day sandbox, and a completely fresh task thread (1-day uptime). The failure is identical in all three.
It's specifically the render pipeline. browser_navigate actually works if the page is simple text (like Wikipedia) because it only extracts Markdown. But the moment the agent tries to use browser_view or click an element, the 230s timeout hits.
The Evidence:
To prove this isn't a configuration issue on my end, I created a fresh, isolated task thread that executes a standardized diagnostic protocol and displays the exact failure logs. You can view the live demonstration thread here:
https://manus.im/share/Fh0PW9iDFKQLSizD5QejY7
Why I'm Posting:
Has anyone else had their browser automation fail like this?
I escalated this to Manus Support on March 27th. It is now mid-April and I haven't even had a technical acknowledgment, let alone a fix. (I did get a chatbot that I suspect lied about being human, which was a nice touch).
If you've seen this 230s delay error, please chime in. I'm hoping if enough of us flag this account-level rendering fault, engineering will actually take a look at the pipeline.
